Si vous recevez un message (error (tag) 55) à l’effet que vous devez obtenir un CODEC afin de pouvoir lire les fichiers MP3 avec Windows Media Player version 9 ou 10, vous devez installer le codec original MPEG LAYER-3 AUDIO DECODER spécifiquement fait par Fraunhofer pour Microsoft.
Vous pouvez le télécharger gratuitement du site Internet suivant :

Il s’agit d’un fichier RAR que vous devez décompresser avec WINRAR (ou tout autre utilitaire de décompression de fichiers RAR) dans un répertoire temporaire.
Subséquemment, vous double-cliquez sur le fichier I3CODECX.EXE que vous trouverez (lequel est le fichier Win32 Cabinet Self-extractor de Microsoft) et le codec requis sera installé automatiquement aux endroits appropriés, notamment dans le régistre. C’est tout. Cela fonctionne parfaitement. JE RÉPÈTE, CELA FONCTIONNE PARFAITEMENT!
Si vous le désirez, je suis disposé à vous télécharger directement ce fichier I3CODECX.EXE (décompressé, non modifié de quelque façon que ce soit et libre de virus, mouchards, adware, etc. Vous n’avez qu’à me transmettre un courriel et, TRÈS IMPORTANT, référer au CODEC 55 dans le sujet de votre message afin qu’il ne soit pas rejeté automatiquement comme étant un pourriel.

If you receive a message (error (tag) 55) to the effect that you need a CODEC in order to be able to read MP3 files with Windows Media Player version 9 or 10, you need to install the original MPEG LAYER-3 AUDIO DECODER specifically made by Fraunhofer for Microsoft.
You can download it (free) from the following Internet site :

It's a .RAR file that you have to decompress with WINRAR (or any other similar RAR utility) in a temporary directory.
Subsequently, you double-click on the I3CODECX.EXE file you'll find (which is the Win32 Cabinet Selft-extrator Microsoft file) and it will automatically install the codec at the right places, including the registry.. That's it. It definitely works, I REPEAT, IT DEFINITELY WORKS!
If you deem it necessary, I am willing, to dowload this I3CODECX.EXE file (uncompressed, unmodified in any way and virus, spyware, adware and whatever free) directly to you. Simply ask me via email and, MOST IMPORTANT, refer to CODEC 55 in the subject part of your message so that it is not rejected as being spam mail.
